I'm just an old guy that loves music. Mostly rock-n-roll. Anything from Primus to KT Tunstall and everything in between. As a kid I was subjected to my father's influences of big band, some jazz and barber shop quartets. My first instrument was the trumpet. But my real love has always been the guitar.

I played guitar seriously for years. Then got married. My attentions went elsewhere and all the guitars I owned were sold and I didn't pick one up again for almost 20 years. Then a couple of years ago I woke up one morning and said to hell with it, I HAVE to do it. So I bought myself a Yamaha acoustic, which I use for most of my recording stuff.

Over the next few months, once I remembered how to play, I ended up buying 6 more guitars, a Korg Radias synth/vocoder, a Fostex 4/16 digital recorder, a Korg D888 8 channel recorder, various mics and a Fostex 812 mixer.

Since then I joined/formed a 4 piece band and we play when we can, where we can.

Then ... well, I found Nirvana (aka: Kompoz.com). So here I am. It's a good thing I do most of my 'real' job from home, because if I weren't able to do that I'd be calling in sick a lot. :)

So that's me in a nutshell. Or some might even say, there's that nut-case again. *S*
