Hi all...

When I was younger :) I composed, sang lead, and played third guitar.  I stopped in order to get married (the road and marriage don't go together). My kids are grown now .. and I enjoy producing music as a hobby. I have a small home studio in which I spend far too much time.

Yup .. I do play still. I have 5 guitars, play a bit of keyboards and some say that I can still sing .. but I have lost a register or two. Sounding more like Johnny Cash everyday :)

I like to arrange, produce, mix and master other people's tunes. I learned a lot of production tricks over the last ten years while composing and producing over 300 tunes (mostly for commerical release but some for friends).

When it comes to my own music .. I use and odd method to build songs. Most people add things slowly - I, however, plaster stuff on .. throw it at the song .. and then strip and chip away exposing the statue hidden in the block of marble. This means that while my songs seem finished because they are full .. full of music and full of awful sounding stuff .. it slowly takes shape as I wittle away at it. Finaly .. the song I was looking for .. emerges.
